The session also aims to help participants create clear goals that drive employee development, align with organisational objectives, and enhance overall performance.

Understanding and Preventing Sexual Harassment on Campus & Managing Complaints of Harassment in the Workplace


In this session, participants will gain an understanding of definitions, prohibited behaviours, and legal liabilities under the Sex Discrimination Ordinance (SDO). The session will equip the university community with practical knowledge on preventing harassment through policies, procedures, building awareness, and cultural changes. Participants will also learn about the options for resolving harassment complaints and experience an effective conciliation process.

This session aims to elevate the understanding and awareness of conflict management, ensuring that disputes are recognised and addressed before they escalate. Conflict resolution strategies will be introduced to strengthen the ability to cope with and handle conflicts effectively, allowing for a more productive and stress-free work environment. Moreover, the workshop will enhance proficiency in navigating a variety of conflict situations through the Registration of proven mediation techniques.
